Our 3rd Annual Blessing of the Pets was originally scheduled to be held Sunday, October 2, 2022, however was cancelled due to the impact of Hurricane Ian.
We are pleased to announce that the event has been rescheduled and will now be held Sunday, November 20, 2022.
Featuring special guests Pastor Cindy Jones, Grace United Methodist Church, and Rev. Dr. Mark McAnlis, Pastor and Joe Spradlin, Pastor of First Congregational Church.
The event is open to people and pets of all faiths. The Blessing begins at 2pm. Be sure to arrive at the shelter by 1:30pm.
Each participant will receive a prayer card and St. Francis medallion. A pet boutique (including people swag too) will be on site, as well as a photo station.
Dogs must be on a leash at all times (no retractable leashes). Cats, critters and other pets must be in a carrier.
