As a nonprofit organization, Cape Coral Animal Shelter is dedicated to saving animals and serving our community. We are honored that so many local businesses and organizations invite us to participate in their events. These partnerships help raise awareness for our mission, and we are grateful for the support.

However, when requests involve having Cape Coral Animal Shelter physically present at a third-party event, we must be mindful of the high volume of invitations, the limited availability of our staff and volunteers, and the cost of dedicating resources to outside activities. For that reason, our participation in being on-site at outside events is subject to the following guidelines. If you are interested in having CCAS present at your event, please complete and submit the request form below.

Notice Requirement
All event requests must be submitted at least ninety (90) days in advance to allow adequate planning and scheduling.

Financial Commitment
In order to participate, the event must guarantee a minimum fundraising contribution of $700 to Cape Coral Animal Shelter. This ensures that our investment of time and resources is sustainable and continues to support our mission.

Scheduling & Availability
Participation in third-party events is not guaranteed. Approval will depend on our shelter’s schedule, staffing, and volunteer availability. As a nonprofit, our team is often stretched thin. Our first priority is always the care and well-being of the animals entrusted to us.

Our Hope for Understanding
We truly value our community’s enthusiasm and support. Please understand that each event requires staff time, volunteer effort, and logistical planning. While we would love to attend every event we’re invited to, our resources are limited. By setting these guidelines, we ensure that our participation is meaningful, sustainable, and aligned with our mission to save lives.
