Bring your pets to celebrate the Feast Day of St. Francis, the patron of animals, at our 7th Annual Blessing of the Pets.

Join us for a FREE outdoor event at the shelter on Sunday, October 4, 2026. Blessing Begins Promptly at 2pm. Plan to Arrive at 1:30pm.

The event is open to people and pets of all faiths.

Each participant will receive a prayer card and St. Francis medallion. Capture memories at our photo station and grab goodies at the bake sale.

Dogs must be on a leash at all times (no retractable leashes). Cats, critters and other pets must be in a carrier.
