Capital Campaign
Every single day, we are forced to turn away overcrowded shelters and rescues begging for our help, and owners desperate to re-home their pets through no fault of their own.
With only 12 kennels and three cat rooms, our intake is very limited, and we just do not have the room to help all those in need—it breaks our hearts.
Our community has outgrown Phase I of our shelter. We need to move to Phase II. Our clinic has only two exam rooms, small surgical and dental suites, and crowded diagnostic and recovery areas. This lack of space prohibits us from having more veterinarians on staff, which greatly limits the number of clients we can see daily. We are currently booked out months in advance and must turn away clients who desperately need our affordable veterinary care.
Phase II will more than triple our shelter space, allowing us to save the lives of many more abandoned, abused, neglected, and at-risk animals.
Converting our existing building to clinic operations will allow us to bring on additional veterinarians, increase the number of clients we see daily, and help more animals and the people who love them.
In addition, Phase II includes a large Community Room that will serve many purposes for our shelter operations and for the community. This room will allow us to educate through community events, kid’s camps/birthday parties, fundraisers, dog training classes, and many other activities.
Cape Coral Animal Shelter is embarking on our second multi-million-dollar fundraising initiative with the goal of raising critical funding for the construction of the new 19,000 sq ft shelter building and expansion of our clinic.
By contributing to this campaign, you will help ensure long-term financial stability and growth of our organization while furthering our mission to save the lives of animals and help the people of our community.
Now is your opportunity to honor a beloved family member, celebrate your achievements, or show your support for our mission by naming a room or space in our new facility.
By naming a part of our shelter in memory of a special person or pet, their legacy will endure through your generosity. Naming Rights are an important way for local corporations, organizations, and civic groups to leave a lasting impact in our community.
For more information about these opportunities or other donations toward our goals, please contact Liz McCauley, Executive Director, at [email protected] or 239-573-2002 Ext. 100.
Size, color, and design of plaque may vary. Photo plaques only available for limited naming rights.
Below is a partial list of available naming opportunities. Subject to change. If you are interested in a naming right and exploring all of our options, please fill out the form below.
