CCAS Groundbreaking Ceremony
Work is officially underway for the Cape Coral Animal Shelter. On November 1, 2018, the CCAS Board of Directors hosted a groundbreaking ceremony.
The nonprofit, no-kill shelter will be located off of Santa Barbara Blvd near Sun Splash Waterpark and is expected to open in the Fall of 2019. Our Shelter will be built in phases. Phase I will be an adoption center, intake area, reception, medical area, offices, play yard and an animal grooming area.
The Board of Directors plus the many dedicated and talented volunteers assisting in a variety of efforts – fundraising, community awareness, administrative duties — has the organization on a firm foundation with a formula for success.
