At CCAS, we’re thrilled to offer Puppy Training Classes and Post-adoption Support, led by our Shelter Manager and Certified Dog Trainer, Kris Barnes.
Kris earned her certification through Animal Behavior College (ABC) in September 2024, choosing ABC for its focus on positive reinforcement training and hands-on mentored externship program.
Whether you’re welcoming a new puppy or looking for guidance with a newly adopted dog, Kris is here to help ensure a smooth transition and a positive experience for both you and your canine companion.
CCAS works in conjunction with Mary Frances Morris of Canine Behavioral Services to provide the best support for all of your canine training needs.
Summer Training Schedule Update
For the safety and comfort of your puppy, training classes will pause during the summer months due to the extreme heat.
To continue supporting pet owners during this time, we will be offering private training sessions focused on specific behavioral concerns and individualized training needs.
