DESCRIPTION:Yoga will be held at the Wicked Dolphin Distillery Tiki Hut on Saturday\, November 5th. \n\n\n\nRelease tension\, stretch the entire body and relax the mind with a gentle and slow paced one hour yoga class. Using mindfulness and the science of slow movement engaging the parasympathetic nervous system to benefit health\, we focus on flexibility\, balance\, range of motion and releasing tension. After working on releasing our body from tension we move into a meditation using visual guidance to help us turn off the internal chatter so we can completely relax the mind with the body. \n\n\n\n$10 per class$8 for CCAS volunteers50% of proceeds benefit CCAS \n\n\n\nBring: yoga mat\, and props (blocks\, strap\, blanket\, towel) \n\n\n\nGot questions? DESCRIPTION:Please join us for a free\, behind-the-scenes tour of the Cape Coral Animal Shelter and Veterinary Clinic. This exclusive tour will be followed by a private Q&A session with CCAS management and an update on our expansion plans.  \n\n\n\nThe tour and Q&A will be approximately one hour and you will see and hear firsthand about the programs and services we provide to our community and throughout Florida. And YES\, you will get to meet a few of our canine and feline residents!ADVANCED REGISTRATION is required. Tours will be limited to the first 20 RSVP’s. SUMMARY:3rd Annual Blessing of the Pets
DESCRIPTION:Our 3rd Annual Blessing of the Pets was originally scheduled to be held Sunday\, October 2\, 2022\, however was cancelled due to the impact of Hurricane Ian.  \n\n\n\nWe are pleased to announce that the event has been rescheduled and will now be held Sunday\, November 20\, 2022.  \n\n\n\nFeaturing special guests Pastor Cindy Jones\, Grace United Methodist Church\, and Rev. Dr. Mark McAnlis\, Pastor and Joe Spradlin\, Pastor of First Congregational Church. \n\n\n\nThe event is open to people and pets of all faiths. The Blessing begins at 2pm. Be sure to arrive at the shelter by 1:30pm. \n\n\n\nEach participant will receive a prayer card and St. Francis medallion.  A pet boutique (including people swag too) will be on site\, as well as a photo station. \n\n\n\nDogs must be on a leash at all times (no retractable leashes). Cats\, critters and other pets must be in a carrier. \n\n\n\nThank you to our sponsors Mullins Memorial Funeral Home & Cremation Service and Raso Realty.
